Thursday Workshops


Training Workouts

The "team-working enterprise-doing" activity. Aims to engage students in enterprise activities through workshops involving time management, networking, team-working, market research, marketing and financial planning and business plan write-up. On-campus Workouts would be delivered by qualified volunteers ("trainers") recruited from the local business community.

Welcome Week: 6th Sept. to 12th Sept inclusive;
Semester 1 : 13th Sept to 17th Dec inclusive;
Semester 2: 17th Jan to 27th May, 2011
2011 Easter break: 4th April to 22nd April.
6th Annual Awards Ceremony and Dinner: 31st March, 2011

Participation at Training Workouts earns you points towards the EGym certificate, presented at the annual awards ceremony.

Conduct marketing research In teams to formulate and execute a research plan covering both customers and competitors. Use survey software e.g. Pinpoint. Plan presentation.
