£200 for third and
Fourth place gets £150.

Ian Stewart, of James Keiller Estates Ltd, will be making an appearance and Graham McKee, a member of the senior management team at the University of Dundee, will be giving out the awards.
It has been a hard fought competition throughout the Semester with some exceptional ideas explored. With a total of £1,750 prize money up for grabs, this is a substantial amount which will hopefully help get some of these business plans off the ground and running!

DIGITAL MEDIA FOR GOOD
FirstPort seeks to identify, advise, connect, encourage and seed-fund new social entrepreneurs in Scotland. 4iP is an innovation fund, created by Channel 4, to stimulate public service digital media across the UK. It supports great ideas for websites, games and mobile services which help people improve their lives. FirstPort and 4iP have teamed up to help individuals develop early stage digital media ideas and prototypes in Scotland. Together they will build the skills, capabilities and partnerships to turn prototypes into social businesses. Together, they will be giving awards of up to £5,000 to help individuals from across Scotland to turn their digital media project into a reality. 4iP will share its expertise in digital media and FirstPort will provide dedicated support including training opportunities, mentoring and access to resources to help individuals develop their skills and their projects.
This free seminar will identify what makes a successful project, featuring Lauren Curren and Sarah Drummond (snook) and their award-winning mypolice project, and give you an opportunity to ask questions and get advice from funders and partners.
Rubber Duckie Hunt
Supported by Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Apex Hotels, there is a one-off grand prize, prizes for best dressed, 2nd and 3rd place; its a great afternoon of fun and free to enter! Teams can be between 2 and 5 people but limited to 15 teams in total.
The hunt itself is a cross between a Treasure Hunt, with clues to the location of the ducks; and a pub quiz with various questions to test your general knowledge of business enterprise and entrepreneurship which you need to answer to successfully complete the challenge. There may also be tasks involved with some of the ducks so be prepared to be enterprising!
The registration forms are to be filled out and returned to us ASAP either electronically to the.egym@gmail.com or by hand to The Enterprise Gym. Sign up!!
