Awards
The
The Enterprise Gym awards its members ‘Blue’, ‘Half-Blue’, ‘Colour’ or ‘Merit’ Certificates according to the individual member’s track records of attendance and performance completed during the year across a range of extra-curricular business enterprise and entrepreneurship learning activities.
A ‘Blue’ is awarded to members achieving the highest standards and includes those members who hold The Iron Man title, the member who is judged overall ‘The Enterprise Gym Champion’ and the member comprising ‘The Enterprise Gym Champion Team’.
The
Awarded to the individual student or recent graduate who most impresses the judges overall in terms of their enterprise and entrepreneurial attributes as demonstrated in practice and in performance at Enterprise Gym activities.
The
Awarded to the team that most impresses the judges in terms of overall attendance, participation in and performance at Enterprise Gym activities.
Iron Man
Awarded to individual(s) who have achieved at least two track records at the highest level (in
A ‘Half-Blue’ is awarded to members whose highest held track record is the
A ‘Colour’ is awarded to members whose highest held track record is the
A ‘Merit’ is awarded to members whose highest held record is the
Track Records
Track records have classes of award reflecting the amount of student effort shown and level of engagement. Track Records for Practice, Theory and Project award Heats, ¼, ½, ¾ Marathon and
Members engage with ‘Training Workouts’ delivered by Business Patrons and complete 7 sessions of 2.5 hours/session. Members also participate in the Discovery Challenge Business Plan Competition for cash prizes.
Gym members engage with the Online Theory ‘Instructor’ module comprising 11 sessions with self-testing.
Project
One project that is running this year is the Graduate Pre-Incubator.
Fun Run
For Gym members who attend and participate in ‘Half-times’ and other approved events such as those held by careers, DUSA, Scottish Enterprise Tayside, Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust and the Scottish Institute for Enterprise.
